Tips for Resolving Common Issues with Classroom Podiums  

• The projector is showing a duplicate or blue image on the screen: 

  • Press the Windows key + P.  The menu titled “Project” will pop up on the right part of your screen and you can select duplicate to project what is on the podium computer.  

• Computer running slowly: 

  • Do not shut down computers: If there are pending updates, the computer will not be usable until the updates are completed. 

• Login failure in classrooms: 

  • The login should look like the following: cpcc\username

• No audio in the classroom: 

  • The Use PC button must be selected on the control panel. 

  • Volume must be raised on the control panel and the PC itself. 

  • With Crestrons, the sound can be amplified by pressing "Mute" and then pressing “Mute” again to turn off Mute.   

• Very slow login times:

  • Arrive early to your classroom and log in. Profiles take longer to load the first time. 
     
• Note - Please do not disconnect any cables from the PC without IT assistance
