Migrate your non-edge browser bookmarks/favorites to Edge on Windows 10/11 or macOS computers.

Prerequisites

The Microsoft Edge Browser must be on your device.

Instructions

  1. Open Microsoft Edge 
  2. Locate the 3 horizontal dots in the top right of the browser and click the 3 dots.
  3. Scroll down and select Settings. It will be near the bottom of the drop down menu.
  4. Select Profiles (you will see your work Profile with your username@cpcc.edu).
  5. Under profile settings, select "Import Browser Data".
  6. Under Import from other browsers, select "Choose What to Import”
  7. In the pop-up box, ensure your previous primary browser is selected as the "import from" box.
  8. By default, all of the check boxes will be selected. You must un-select all check boxes except "Favorites or Bookmarks" and "Extensions"
  9. Select "Import"
  10. When the import is complete, you'll see a notification 
  11. Select Done 
  12. Repeat for other browsers you wish to retrieve bookmarks or favorites from.

Outcome

Edge will now include all of your previous browsers bookmarks and favorites.
