MyConnect for Students

Accessing MyConnect

Students must use their personal email address provided during the college application process to access MyConnect.  An account is created in MyConnect for students who have submitted the college application. 

Instructions

1. Logging In

• MyConnect can be accessed at myconnect.cpcc.edu or by going to 'Current Students' section on the school's website and clicking 'MYCONNECT LOGIN'.

• First Time Accessing MyConnect:

1. Select the “Forgot Password” link.
2. Enter your personal email address and select “Reset Password.”
3. Follow the prompts to create a password for MyConnect.
4. It might take 1-2 minutes for your password to update after you reset it.

• Returning User:

1. Enter your personal email and your MyConnect password.
2. Enter the confirmation code sent to your personal email.
   • The confirmation code is case-sensitive, so enter it exactly as shown, including capital letters. 

• Trouble logging in?
  • If you see a "session expired" error, it means you entered your email address, password, or confirmation code incorrectly. 
  • It might take 1-2 minutes for your password to update after you reset it.

2. Homepage Features

• The homepage provides high-level access to features within the platform, including:
• Your Current Major
• Financial Aid Counselor: Email or schedule an appointment with your Financial Aid Counselor.
• Academic Advisor: Email or schedule an appointment with your Academic Advisor.

3. My Academics

• This section displays default program information, allowing students to review suggested courses based on their program of study and providing information about individual degrees within those pathways.

4. Next Steps

• Complete individual steps necessary for enrollment.

5. Access Your Accounts

• Provides links to essential college resources, including MyCollege, Brightspace, and CPCC Email.

6. Get Involved

• Offers information regarding campus events.

7. Campuses

• Access detailed maps and locations for each campus.

Outcome

Once these steps are completed, students will be able to successfully log in to MyConnect and navigate its features to enhance their college experience.
