Microsoft Outlook - Web Browser or Mobile App
Your Central Piedmont email can be accessed via Outlook on the Web or your Mobile Device.
Web Browser
- Open your web browser and navigate to to the Microsoft 365 Portal or Outlook
- Enter your CPCC email address:
- Employees: firstname.lastname@cpcc.edu
- Students: username@email.cpcc.edu
- Enter your CPCC password and authenticate with Microsoft Authenticator (employees) or Duo (students).
Outlook App
Students:
1. Install the Outlook App
2. Select Add Account.
*Note – On iOS if Microsoft Authenticator is installed, you will receive a message to authenticate, click Open Authenticator. Select the Work or school account option.
3. Enter your Central Piedmont email address and select Add Account.
*Note- The format of your email address is "username@email.cpcc.edu".
4. Login with your Central Piedmont Username and Password
6. Authenticate with Duo Mobile.
To ensure security and prevent misuse, the following email sending limits are in place for student accounts:
- 20 external messages per hour (emails to non-CPCC accounts)
- 20 internal messages per hour (emails to other CPCC accounts)
- 20 total messages per day
Exceeding any of these limits will temporarily block your account from sending emails until the next day.
Employees:
1. Install the Outlook App.
[Note - Android users will need to set up the managed version of Outlook via the Intune Company Portal]
2. Select Add Account and enter your Central Piedmont email address.
3. Authenticate with MS Authenticator.
4. Select "OK" when you see a message similar to the one below and restart the App.
5. You will then be signed into your employee email on your device.
*Note- You may have to log in to your account multiple times when you first set up your device.
