Central Piedmont Information Technology Services (ITS) is planning an upgrade to Central Piedmont Community College Cloud Desktop to provide faculty & staff with an improved remote computing experience. The upgrade will be complete on Monday, August 10.
It is important that all users using Cloud Desktop save a copy of any important files stored in Cloud Desktop to Microsoft OneDrive prior to the upgrade, as they will not be available on Cloud Desktop after the upgrade.
Central Piedmont ITS strongly recommends using Microsoft OneDrive for the persistent storage of important personal files. Files stored in OneDrive remain available across supported devices and are not dependent on a specific Cloud Desktop.
