Create guest accounts using ADManager

Prerequisites

Staff with permission to access ADManager and create guest accounts.

Create a Single Guest Account

  1. Log in to ADManager 

  2. Go to User Management > User Creation > Create Single User

  3. At the top, select these options: 

  • Selected Domain: lab.cpcc.edu 

  • Selected Template: Guest User Creation 

  1. Enter the required guest information. For events, include the event name in the Notes section.

  2. Click Create. 

  3. If you entered the guest's email address in the form, they will receive an email with their login credentials.

Outcome

The guest account will be successfully created and ready for use. If multiple guest accounts are needed, and creating them individually is not feasible, please submit a request to the ITS Service Desk for bulk account creation. Be sure to include the event name, end date, and a list of the users who need accounts.
