Task
Create guest accounts using ADManager
Prerequisites
Staff with permission to access ADManager and permission to create guest accounts.
Instructions
1. Log into AD Manager Plus
2. Click Login with Microsoft. If this is the first time, you will need to sign in with your MS account and authenticate otherwise, it should auto-sign you in.
3. Under Management- User Management select User Creation then Create Single User
4. Click the down arrow on Selected Template. Click on Guest User Creation. Click OK.
5. Enter the First name, Last name and end date of event [Account expires]. For Notes, use the name of the event. Enter the email of the guest if a copy of the account credentials needs to be sent to them. After the required fields are completed, click Create
Outcome
The guest account should be created and ready to use.
If there are multiple guest accounts needing to be created where single creation is not feasible, please submit a request to the ITS Service Desk for bulk creation and provide the name and end date of the event as well as the names of users.
