Moving Share Drive Documents

Task

Move contents from Share drive document library to Teams Channel document library

Prerequisites

Permissions to access the Shared Drive with Edit rights

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the shared drive from the Shared Drive Directory
  2. Based on users permission sets, user can move folders or documents by selecting the 3 ellipses ( ... ) > Move to Share Drive
    To move multiple files select files > Move to shared drive 2
     
  3. If possible use Quick access to find the Team or select More places... Shared drive 3
    Scroll down to find the Teams that the user is apart of, ​select desired TeamsShared drive 4
     
  4. Expand In channels to locate appropriate Channel within the Team Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  5. Select desired Channel then select Move here shared drive 5

Outcome

Move files from Share Drive document library to Teams Channel.
