  • Adjusting Settings: Use the on-screen menu to adjust brightness, contrast, and other display settings.

  • Using Built-in Apps: Access built-in apps like a whiteboard, browser, and presentation tools directly from the touch monitor.

Cart Accessories

  • Dell Monitor Remote
  • Stylus Pens
  • Wireless Keyboard and Mouse
  • USB Conference Microphone (for online participants to hear the instructor and students)
  • 4 Port Surge Protection Power Strip

Maintenance and Care

  • Keyboard and Mouse: After each session, power off the keyboard and mouse to save battery life. Power off the monitor, not the PC.

  • Moving the Cart: Move the cart with two people to prevent injury or damage.

  • Monitor Handling: Do not bang or write forcibly on the monitor. For interactive touch, use only your fingers or stylus.

  • Powering the Cart: Always keep the cart plugged into a power outlet. Only unplug it for transit. Once it is at its destination, please plug it back in to ensure the PC continues receiving policy updates, which are crucial for class sessions.

Logging In

  1. Login: Use your Central Piedmont login. The cart is set up on the LAB domain, so students can also log in. Be sure to use the CPCC\username or username@cpcc.edu format to log in.

  2. Sync MS Account: Turn on sync for your MS account if prompted.

  3. Sign Out: When the session is complete, please sign out of the PC but do not power it off.
