Provided you have a Webex soft client configured, signing into Phone Service allows you to make external phone calls using the Webex application. It also allows you to check your voice mail using the application without the need of your VM PIN. If you try to sign in Phone service and see a red check for Phone Service under 'Status', you probably don’t have a Webex soft client configured. To have a soft client configured for Webex please submit a service request by navigating to Services > Communication and Collaboration > Telephones and Videoconferencing > Request Webex Support.
