The Cisco Unity Connection Portal allows users to access legacy voicemail messages that were received before the college transitioned to Webex Calling. This guide explains how to access, play, download, and manage older messages through Cisco Unity Connection.
Note: New voicemail messages will not appear in the Cisco Unity Connection Portal. New voicemail messages can be accessed in the Webex Calling User Portal.
Accessing the Cisco Unity Web Inbox
- Open a web browser and go to the Cisco Unity Connection Web Inbox.
- Log in using your Central Piedmont credentials.
Listening to Voicemail Messages
- After logging in, you’ll see a list of your saved voicemail messages.
- Click on a message to select it and use the playback controls to listen directly in your browser.
Downloading Voicemail Messages
- Select the voicemail message you want to download.
- Right click the “message.wav” link and select “save link as”
- Choose where you want to save the message (rename the file if desired) and click Save.
Managing Voicemail Messages
You can manage your messages using the following toolbar options:
- Delete: Select a message and click the trash icon to delete it.
- Forward: Some portals allow you to forward voicemail messages to another user.
- Mark as Read/Unread: Use the envelope icon to mark messages as read or unread.
