Overview
This guide explains how to set up, access, and manage voicemail using Webex Calling. Users can check messages or update voicemail settings from their desk phone, the Cisco Call app in Microsoft Teams, email, or the Webex User Hub. This article covers voicemail setup, message retrieval, greeting management, notification settings, and PIN resets.

Audience
This article is intended for all Webex Calling users, including general staff and IT team members who assist with voicemail configuration or troubleshooting.
Prerequisites
This article applies to users who have an active Webex account with voicemail services provisioned by the college. If voicemail options do not appear in the Webex User Hub, submit a ticket or contact the ITS Service Desk to verify your account configuration.
Set Up Voicemail
- Sign in to the Webex User Hub (https://user.webex.com)
- Navigate to the Voicemail tab.
- Set your voicemail PIN for secure access.
- Record your personal greeting or use the default system greeting.
- Save your changes.
Accessing Voicemail
There are several ways to access your voicemail:
Webex User Hub:
- Go to the Webex User Hub (https://user.webex.com).
- Sign in using your Webex credentials.
- Navigate to Calling > Voicemail to view, play, and manage messages.
Desk Phone: Press the voicemail button on your phone to listen to messages.
Microsoft Teams (Cisco Call App): Open the Cisco Call app and go to the Voicemail tab to play messages.
Email: Voicemail messages are delivered as audio attachments.
- Important: Deleting voicemail emails does not delete the messages from the voicemail system. To remove stored messages, delete them using your desk phone or the Cisco Call app.
Manage Voicemail Settings
From the Webex User Hub (https://settings.webex.com), you can:
- Listen to voicemail messages
- Manage voicemail greetings
- Configure voicemail notifications and message delivery options
- Enable or disable voicemail features depending on your permissions
Reset Voicemail PIN
If your voicemail PIN is forgotten or locked due to too many failed attempts, you can reset it by following these steps:
- Go to the Webex User Hub (user.webex.com or settings.webex.com).
- Navigate to Calling > Voicemail.
- Select Reset Voicemail PIN.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to create a new PIN.
Note: The Webex User Hub interface may change over time as Cisco updates its platform. As a result, some menu names or navigation steps in this article may differ slightly from what you see on your screen.
