Logging In with Microsoft Authenticator

Instructions

  1. When prompted to sign in, enter your Central Piedmont email address and password.

    • Employees: firstname.lastname@cpcc.edu
    • Students: username@email.cpcc.edu

    After entering your email and password, you’ll be asked to authenticate.

  3. Choose an authentication method to verify your login:

    • Microsoft Authenticator: Open the app on your phone and enter the code.

    • Phone/Text: Enter the verification code sent to your phone.

    When asked if you want to "Stay signed in?" click Yes if you are not on a shared device.

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure that your Microsoft Authenticator app or YubiKey is set up correctly and that you can log into your Microsoft Account.

  • Update the app: Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft Authenticator. Tap Settings in the app and enable automatic updates.

  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, or try using a different web browser.

  • Double-check that you’re using the correct email format:

    • Employees: firstname.lastname@cpcc.edu

    • Students: username@email.cpcc.edu

  • If you receive an error saying your account has been blocked or you can't enter the verification code, please call the ITS Service Desk for assistance.
