Overview
This guide explains how to clear the cache and cookies in Microsoft Edge. Cache and cookies are temporary files stored in your web browser to help websites load faster and remember preferences. However, this data can build up over time and lead to issues with how websites behave or slow browser performance. Clearing the cache and cookies can help fix many common website or browsing issues.
Computer (Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, & Linux)

On your computer, open Microsoft Edge.

Click the three horizontal dots in the upper-right corner of the browser window.

Select History.

Click the trash can icon at the top right of the History panel.

At the top, choose the time range for the data you want to clear. For a complete clear-out, select All time.

Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files.”

Click Clear now.
Android
-
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Microsoft Edge app.

At the bottom right, tap the three horizontal lines to open the menu.

Select History.
-
Tap the trash can icon at the top right.

At the top, choose the time range for the data you want to clear. For a complete clear-out, select All time.

Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files.”

Tap Delete data.
iOS

On your iPhone or iPad, open the Microsoft Edge app.

At the bottom right, tap the three horizontal lines to open the menu.

Select History.

Tap the trash can icon at the top.
